How do they do it? - The Clark Nuptuals

We've moved to - you'll be redirected to this post in a moment.

Date night!!!! This Saturday, my husband and I are going out to dinner with our friend Ryan and his relatively new bride, Carol. I am super excited to be having dinner with adults and can't wait to try out a new restaurant that is getting great reviews. Back in May, my husband and I were lucky enough to attend their wedding at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo. It was amazing. Here are some of my favorite details:
Above is the invitation. So great. This is right in line with the grandiose Madonna Inn. My favorite part is the gold metallic dinosaur on the very back of the invite. This really sets the tone for the wedding ahead and I couldn't wait to attend.

These piggy banks were the centerpieces on the tables. Throughout the whole evening all the guests were jockeying for position to take one home with them. The funny party was, there was no announcement as to whether this is what the bride or groom wanted you to do but the guests didn't seem to care! People were hiding them under tables, running them to their rooms before the reception was over. Ours looks lovely on top of our bookshelf. :)
Scattered around the tables were these prayer candles that were wrapped with a custom sticker. The wrap matched the invitations and also included a caricature of the bride and groom. These were the favors.
The buttons above were actually done for Ryan's bachelor party but some extras made their way to the wedding as well. These are the same caricatures that were on the above candles.

It was an amazing wedding, amazing weekend and amazing hotel.

The favors are a great idea! I'll definitely have to keep that in mind...
