If I have to hear another High School Musical song I might just poke my eyes out with a fork. Okay, that might be a bit extreme but if you have a young girl in your house, you probably feel the same way. I don't know what it is about kids that makes them want to listen to the same song over and over and over and over again. And why is it always the songs that stick in your head for days on end and drive you bananas??? Choosing music for any family-friendly soiree can be difficult for that reason alone. It hard to find a playlist that won't drive you bonkers but will also be "child friendly". So say thank you to the folks at Universal music. They've just introduced a line of family friendly cds that take the headache out of putting together your playlists - and you'll be singing the songs right alongside your kids. All of the songs are original versions by their original artists. (No annoying cover songs!) And each cd is age graded to make your selection that much easier. Titles include Miss Ella (Fitzgerald's) Playhouse, B is for Bob (Marley) - (avail in March), & Totally 80's for Kids. Check out the full selection available at Amazon or www.ilovethatsong.com/family for more information. And say goodbye to the headache inducing kids tunes you've grown to despise.
