I know that October is now almost over but it is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I having been meaning to post about this for, oh, about a month now. And while most websites and focus has shifted to Halloween, Breast Cancer Awareness should really be longer than just one month anyway. Check out Betty Crocker's website for some fabulous pink food ideas. Not only will you draw attention to a very important cause, but they also look really good! When I see this much pink I immediately think of baby girl showers and bridal showers. These recipes would work perfect for those as well as a sweet sixteen, a little girl's bday, a mother's day brunch, the list goes on. Of course you don't have to make the full pink palette, but all these recipes could surely stand alone. I for one am pretty interested in the Almond Cake, yum! I think A- mentioned a Pink for the Cure party in a previous post, but Betty Crocker also has a party you can through complete with a menu, invitation ideas and decor. So, go do a self breast exam and then peruse these recipes. Your waistline might not thank you but your boobs sure will.
